Color Usage
We LOVE color. We love apps and sites. We need lots of colors. Here are the ones we're presently settled in on, though this is likely to change frequently. Fasten your seatbelt.
Main Colors
Our colors are not yet set in stone. Here are some basic colors that we're moving forward with and know that we'll be defining these over time. If you need things like hover states or changes to the color values at all, try to use rgb"A" and set an alpha on the color or use Sass functions to up the saturation.
Blacks
We've done some handy Sass when working with blacks. We start with #343B3E and then employ some Sass color functions to calculate value changes so you're always in the same hue! Sweet right?
Grays
Depending on the design, sometimes black and it's variations don't quite set the mood. We sometimes use these warmer grays for things as well.
Base
Base is another set of grays that we use. When gray and black is just a little boring, this set gives you a little more to work with.
